Airbus A320 level D Full Flight Simulator

a revolution in full flight simulators

Impression of our new Avion
A320 Full Flight Simulator

Revolutionary features

Light and modular structure

In the traditional simulators no less than 4000 connections are being used. In our simulator around 200 connections. This allows for easy and fast installation and commissioning and optimized operating times since the connections typically are the culprit of errors.

Smart airco

The air conditioning system is fully integrated within the floor structure of the simulator. No external hoses or connections are required to connect the air conditioning system with external equipment, which minimizes the need for on-ground equipment.

Motion system

The motion system we use is easy to maintain. All line replaceable units can be exchanged within one hour and comes with 24/7 global support on demand.

Plug & Fly

All systems and servers are integrated in the simulator. Together with the revolutionary Airstairs, this ensures that no complicated infrastructure is necessary anymore. Only 4 cabinets remain outside the simulator for the motion control system.

Visual system

For our visual system we have teamed up with RSi. For over 20 years, RSi has been a leading innovative provider of Level D visual systems and has delivered hundreds of FAA certified systems worldwide. RSi have a database with over a thousand Level D customised airports with the highest quality of visuals; a resolution up to 8.8 megapixels per channel and a field of visual 200º x 40º.

Airstairs

To reduce infrastructure costs, we created a fully integrated entrance for the training device. It is inspired by the executive jet entrance and is truly going to set the new standard in training device innovations.

Light weight

Our system uses a lot of strong and lightweight materials, making the simulator weighing only 7,5 tons. This is 5 tons lighter than traditional simulators. The motion system can take 14 tons, so maximum loads are never exceeded and therefore the maintenance wear is reduced to a minimum. Save up to 70% in power consumption.

UPRT in mind

Avion simulators have been designed and manufactured with upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) in mind. Enhanced stress calculations and analyses have been applied and carefully selected components have been used to make sure the simulator can withstand the g-forces implied by the severe stall buffets due to UPRT. This results in a higher uptime and less maintenance compared to the heavy traditional simulators.

Remote monitoring

We can access the systems from a distance, which lets us assist you with any maintenance requests.

Certified and accredited

Avion simulators are qualified to the highest standards (Level D), according to EASA, FAA, CAAC FSTD guidelines. The Simulator will be DGCA Qualified.
